In January 2022, OFFICIALS at the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) confirmed that cannabis seeds fall under the legal definition of hemp because cannabis seeds in their existing seed state do not contain THC and, yes, they can be sold openly and without criminal liability. The 2018 Farm Bill, with its definition of hemp as any aspect of the cannabis plant containing less than 0.3% THC, including cannabis seeds fall under the definition of HEMP and are legal to sell. That is why we are protected from selling CANNABIS SEEDS by referring to them as HEMP and that allows us to sell them legally.
